FAQ

Quick answers to the questions people ask most about sign-in, uploads, quality, export and access.

Short answers to the questions we hear most. Each one links to the page with the full story.

Signing in

I forgot my password. On the sign-in page, choose Forgot password?, enter your email and choose Send reset link. The link in the email works once and expires after 30 minutes.

The sign-up page says I need an invitation. EmbodiFlow teams are invitation-only. Ask a team Owner or Admin to invite you.

Uploading

My upload stopped. Leaving the page stops an upload, but the original tab can still finish it. If some files failed, choose Retry failed or pending files; files that already arrived aren't sent again. See Upload recordings.

All files arrived, but no recordings were created. Choose Retry creating recordings. The files are already stored, so nothing is uploaded again.

I can't start the upload. Look under Issues to review on the upload page and fix what it lists first. A common cause is a missing Task when the project has no default task.

A recording is stalled or its run failed. A recording with no progress for over an hour shows Stalled; choose Reprocess to start again from the first step. When a run fails, open it and choose Retry failed steps to continue where it stopped. See Runs.

Episodes and quality

Why did my robot recording become only one episode? That is by design: each robot recording becomes exactly one episode. Human recordings are cut into several episodes by an AI model. See Episodes.

What does "AI-proposed, not reviewed" mean? An AI model suggested these episode boundaries and task descriptions. They stay marked that way until a person checks them.

A check shows Warning or Fail. Can I still use the recording? Only Pass is a pass. Episodes with warnings can still go into a dataset version, so take a look first. Failed episodes are left out. See Quality.

Versions and export

Which formats can I export? LeRobot v3 by default, with H.264 camera videos and a checksum for every file. You can also choose LeRobot v2.1, the original files, or MP4 and JSON, and robot projects add RLDS and robomimic HDF5. See Export.

Why can't I export yet? Recordings that need privacy processing are exported only once anonymization has finished for them. Wait for the anonymize step of the run, or check the project's privacy requirement with a team Owner.

Can I change a dataset version? No. A version is frozen when it is created. Create a new version with the episodes or settings you want. See Dataset versions.

Team and access

Where are the tasks assigned to me? In My work in the sidebar. See Console tour.

How do I add someone to the team or to a project? Team Owners and Admins invite people on the Members page of team settings. Project members are added in the project under Settings, then Members. See Team and members.

Who can see my human recordings before anonymization? Only the uploader, Owners, and project members who can both edit algorithms and manage the project's workflow. See Roles and permissions.

Do I need written consent from the people I record? No. No project asks for written consent. Anonymization still applies where the project requires privacy processing.

How do I get an API key? Team Owners and Admins create team API keys in team settings. For your own command-line work, create a personal token under Account. See Authentication.

Where do I see storage and billing? Open Usage & billing from the account menu, or Storage in team settings. See Team and members.
