EmbodiFlow uses only a few words, and every page in the console is built on them. Once you know how they connect, the rest of the product reads naturally.
Team and project
A team is your shared space: its members, settings, API keys, storage and usage. Everyone has a team role, and you can belong to several teams and switch between them. See Team and members.
Inside a team, work happens in projects. A project holds one kind of data. Robot projects take teleoperation recordings from arms and grippers; Human projects take first-person demonstrations. The kind decides how uploads are processed and which checks run. See Projects.
Recording
A recording is one take you uploaded: a file or a folder. Each recording shows where it is in processing and what the checks found. See Recordings.
Workflow, run and step
Every project has a workflow: the list of steps that runs on each upload. Each time it runs over one or more recordings, that is a run. If a step fails, you can retry from that step and keep the results of the steps that already finished. See Workflows.
The first job of every workflow is to standardize. Recordings come from different devices, in different formats and with different clocks. The workflow converts each one to LeRobot v3 and aligns its streams to one 30 Hz timeline, so everything that follows works on the same shape of data.
Episode
An episode is one task cut from a recording, the unit you train on. A robot recording becomes exactly one episode. For human recordings, an AI model proposes the episodes and their task descriptions, marked AI-proposed, not reviewed until a person checks them. See Episodes.
Quality result
The checks give each recording and episode a result. Only Pass is a pass and shows green. Warning means it is usable but worth a look; Fail, Error, Not checked and Does not apply are not passes either. See Quality.
Dataset version
A dataset version is a set of episodes frozen at one moment, together with its split and settings. It never changes. When you want different episodes or settings, you create a new version, so a training job or an export always points to exactly the same data. See Dataset versions.
Export
An export packs a dataset version into files you can download, LeRobot v3 by default, with camera videos and a checksum for every file. You can also train a model on a version directly. See Export and Training.
